Bring what you have.
The task you need to complete, who uses it, existing records and what is difficult today. Explain whether you need a new system or a connection to something you already use.
Portals & custom applications
For a business that needs a client portal, internal dashboard, staff tool or a workflow that existing products do not cover well.
Discuss what you need ↗A custom application should solve a clearly described job. We start with the users, the information and the decisions before drawing a dashboard.
A scope we can review
Choose one complete workflow and agree what can wait. A small usable system is easier to review than a long feature list.
Specify what each user can see, enter, approve and export. Include the person who administers the system.
Use synthetic information in the prototype. Review validation, errors, access and recovery as well as the normal path.
Define the question, data sources and calculations before building a dashboard. Reports should distinguish measured records from estimates. Predictive analysis is separately scoped after checking whether the data can support a useful, testable forecast.
Agree hosting, backups, monitoring, changes and handover. A login screen is only one part of running an application.

Clinical records, legal case systems and other sensitive workflows require separate domain and security assessment. AI features need a defined task, review process and evidence of their limits.
A small client-document workflow concept. This is an illustrative example, not client work or evidence of a connected production service.
We’ll discuss the useful first step and what it needs.
